Malachite is a powerful stone for protection, healing (you and the earth!), meditation, and transformation! It amplifies both positive and negative energies, so be sure to give it a cleansing* often. Environmentally, malachite anchors higher spiritual and healing energies into the planet and absorbs plutonium, radiation, electromagnetic pollution, and other pollutants. Spiritually, malachite cleanses and activates the chakras, assisting in tuning in to your guidance and allowing spiritual and healing energies to flow freely. This is an excellent stone to meditate with as it helps to open your psychic abilities and assists creative visualization. Malachite is a great stone for transformation! It will continue to show you what is blocking your spiritual path. Working with the heart and solar plexus chakras will show you the deep seeded emotions and thoughts that need to be released, thought patterns that need to be broken, and 

ties that are no longer serving you. It teaches you to take responsibility for your actions, words, deeds, and thoughts and helps to develop empathy for others. Malachite is also helpful in relieving stress, anxiety, and low self-esteem. As a healing stone, malachite has been used to treat menstrual cramps and assist childbirth, lower blood pressure, vertigo, travel sickness, arthritis, joint and bone issues, and enhance the immune system. If you are using malachite for healing, use only polished stones. Rough malachite is toxic!!! You can make an elixir for topical applications, BUT only using the indirect method (take the stone and put it in an empty glass, put the glass in a bowl of water, right side up, and let it charge overnight).
